All the information you need to enrol your daughter in a DAE dance class.

Current Students

The order of priority for 2019 enrolment will be as follows:

  • Students currently enrolled in the chosen class as of Term 4 2018, assuming that the application form is received no later than 1st December 2018. e.g. A Jazz student wishing to re-enrol in Jazz.
  • Current 'DAE' students in other classes, assuming the enrolment form is received no later than 1st December 2018. e.g. Ballet student wishing to enrol in Jazz.

New Students

From 1st December 2018 DAE begins to accept applications from NEW students. Please pass this information onto your friends who wish to enrol.

Read the timetable thoroughly to avoid enroling in the wrong classes. Make a personal copy of the proposed enrolment so that you have a record of the classes selected.

A letter confirming your enrolment, including further 2019 information will be sent in January 2019 to the address given on the application form.

Although the Academy will do its best to accommodate all current students, it cannot guarantee placement into the desired classes. Suitable alternatives will be offered in such instances if at all possible.

Although we do not have a formal 'class trial' system, invoices for fees are generally not sent until week 2 of each term; giving enough time for your child to try the class to determine if she likes it before payment for tuition is made.

Terms & Conditions

  • Invoices are sent at the beginning of each term and are payable within 14 days.
  • Fees (cheques) may be posted to: Dance Academy East Pty Ltd PO Box 688, Coogee NSW 2034Or directly to the studio (cheque or cash) Or by direct deposit BSB 062148 ACC 1028 7123
  • New students joining mid-term are entitled to a pro-rata discount.
  • Fees are non-refundable if a student is withdrawn.
  • The processing fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Please advise Dance Academy East of any changes to classes taken, personal details, contact address etc.
  • A discount of 10% applies to families with combined classes of 5 or more.
  • A nominal costume Hire of $14 per class (excluding Technique class) will be added to term 3 invoices to contribute to the renewal, maintenance and excellence of our extensive costume wardrobe which is utilised for Concerts and performances.
  • DAE is an ‘Active Kids’ provider. To redeem your voucher and apply to your terms fees, go to service.nsw.gov.au. Deduct amount from your fees and provide us your voucher number, child’s name and child’s D.O.B, as shown on the voucher. More information can be obtained from the Active Kids website

General Informations

  • For the safety of all students please do not double park when dropping off or pick up
  • Please feel free to make an appointment with the staff if you wish to discuss your child’s progress
  • Students must wear the appropriate uniform, be well groomed, well behaved, punctual and courteous at all times. Please label all items of uniform with your child’s name.
  • For the benefit of all students, parents are unable to watch Dance Academy East classes except for demonstration days or after prior arrangement with staff.
  • Lost property is located at the scout hall & will be donated to charity at the end of the term.
  • Dance Academy East reserves the right to change the timetable, should the need arise.
  • All students participate in the Academy’s end of year concert, held at the Parade Theatre, NIDA.
