Enrolment Process
- Choose classes from the timetable. DAE is flexible – we are happy to do our best to accomodate changes to the classes chosen. Please keep in mind that classes fill very quickly. Once at capacity, waiting lists apply and classes cannot be trialled. For students enrolling after February, please contact us to check the current availability of the class /classes you are interested in.
- Fill out the online application form and pay the processing fee of $35 per student or per family. This fee is non-refundable. You will then receive an email to let you know that your application for classes has been received.
- DAE sends confirmations of classes selected and enrolment via email in Mid January (or 2 working days after submission for those who enrol when term 1 begins)
- Invoices for tuition are not sent until the commencement of the term allowing your daughter to try the classes prior to invoices being raised.

Enrolment priority for the start of the dance year is as follow (applications are processed in the order that they are received)
- Current DAE students wanting to enrol in the same classes as taken the year prior.
- Current DAE students wishing to enrol in a new class/genre. e.g. a Ballet/Jazz/Tap student wishing to add Contemporary
- Siblings of current DAE. students wishing to begin their dance journey.
- NEW students joining the DAE family.

Terms & Conditions
- In term 1, invoices will be sent during the first 2 weeks. In subsequent terms, invoices will be sent during the school holidays prior and are due within 7 days.
- Fees can be paid via direct debit, cash or credit card. Please refer to your invoice for details.
- New students joining mid term are entitled to a pro rata discount.
- Fees are non refundable if a student withdraws prior to the end of the term. Please see our term dates.
- The application processing fee is non refundable and non transferable.
- Please advise DAE of any changes to your contact details.
- A discount of 10% applies to families/siblings with combined classes of 5 or more.
- Costume hire charges are applied to invoices in term 3. Costume hire charges are $30 per costume.
- DAE is both an active and creative kids provider. Information regarding voucher redemption will be found on your invoice.
General
- For the safety of all students please do not double park when dropping off or picking up.
- Please feel free to make an appointment via email if you wish to discuss your child’s progress with staff.
- Students must wear the appropriate uniform, be well groomed, well behaved, punctual and courteous at all times. Please label all items of uniform with your child’s name.
- For the benefit of all students, parents are unable to watch Dance Academy East classes.
- Lost property is located at the scout hall & will be donated to charity at the end of the term.
- Dance Academy East reserves the right to change the timetable, should the need arise.
- All students are expected to participate in DAE’s Mid year (June)and end of year (November) productions in the Theatre. Parents, family and friends are warmly invited and encouraged to attend these fantastic events. Please see our Concert page for more information.
