Our compulsory DAE uniform supports and contributes to Dance tradition and discipline. Our uniform also facilitates optimal concentration and effective body alignment. For these reasons and many more, the DAE uniform is compulsory for all students. DAE girls wear their uniform with pride. Please familiarise yourself with our range of stylish and appropriate Dancewear.

- Sizing Tip – Leotard sizes are based on a Childs height. Shorts and Skirts are generally one size down from the leotard , e.g Child Large leotard – Child Medium shorts/skirt.
- Uniform items cannot be exchanged without original packaging and tags in tact.
- DAE does not sell shoes. Please visit your local dance wear shop or, alternatively, online marketplaces for second hand shoes.

Senior+ Uniform Protocol
The following protocols have been introduced regarding the wearing of the DAE Senior+ uniform so that our students are able to continue to feel comfortable and confident whilst in their dance classes.
The uniform CAN be worn to weekly classes but it is not mandatory to wear the uniform to weekly classes.
A student can wear the DAE Tights only- with own choice of top. Similarly, a student can wear the DAE Singlet only- with own choice of bottoms.
The uniform MUST be worn at official DAE events such as Concerts, Rehearsals, Technical Rehearsals, Film Shoots and Community Engagements. There may also be certain classes/teachers who will instruct the uniform to be ‘occasionally’ worn. Advanced notice will be communicated with students so that there is certainty as to when/if the uniform is required to be worn.

Hip hop classes are taken in sports/running shoes of choice.
Shoes are not sold at DAE. Local dance wear shops have DAE shoe requirements on file.
